I can't really tell a difference in performance. I had to get one because the pinch bolts on the stock fox crown are on the back of the crown and were hitting my frame. The Risse crown has pinch bolts in the front.

Are you planning on racing Black Rock this weekend? Is it a good trail they are racing on?
